The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Major General Taoreed Lagbaja, has appointed Major General J.O Ochai as the Commandant of the prestigious Nigerian Defence Academy - NDA.
Prior to his current appointment, Major General J.O Ochai served at the Army Headquarters Department of Operations before being assigned to the Nigerian Army Armour School as the Commandant. His wealth of experience and expertise make him well-suited for his new role at the helm of the Nigerian Defence Academy.
Gen Ochai hails from Otukpa, Ogbadibo LGA of Benue State.
